Indiana Farm Bureau convention underway

Indiana Farm Bureau’s state convention kicks off later this morning and runs through tomorrow.  Highlights for this year’s convention include President’ Don Villwock’s annual address during the opening session which begins at 11:30.  Later this afternoon Patrick Haggerty, political humorist and grassroots advocate will address the general session.  Later this evening, the finals for the Discussion Meet and Indiana Farm Bureau Young Farmer awards will take place this evening at the Indiana State Museum.

The election for IFB 2^nd vice president will be held tomorrow during the delegate session.  During the session, delegates can also chose to discuss issues that have arisen or changed since the main delegate session in August.
