Hoosier Homestead Awards

To honor Indiana’s rich agricultural heritage, 72 families were recognized with the Hoosier Homestead Award at this year’s Indiana State Fair.  Lt. Governor Becky Skillman and Indiana Agriculture Director Joe Kelsay recognized the families this (Wednesday) morning during a ceremony at the Indiana Farm Bureau building on the fairgrounds. 

The Hoosier Homestead Award recognizes families with farms that have been in the same family for 100 years or more.
