Testing catches dairy cow parasites

Some of the most common parasites in dairy cows can have quite an effect on milk production if the affected cow is just coming fresh. Don Bliss, with Mid America Research, tests the compounds that go after parasites. He recommends getting tests done to determine if cows have parasites and what those parasites are. Getting the pests under control is doable and makes good sense for a dairy farm’s bottom line.
