Precision ag software cuts down on lime application

David Hydrick, the co-developer of web-based FieldRx software, easily discusses what he knows best: precision agriculture. He spends the bulk of his time advising his clients about what’s best for their crops. He and his partner saw the need for software that could translate the data that comes out of soil test laboratories into what comes out of the fertilizer application truck. The result is FieldRx, an easy to use program that Hydrick says will save money by avoiding over-application of nutrients. Another benefit, says Hydrick, is that FieldRx is environmentally green.
