New grain bin safety video in the works

There’s been a sharp increase in grain bin accidents and fatalities according to the latest reports. In response, the National Corn Growers Association has partnered with the National Grain and Feed Association to start educating farmers – as well as firefighters – through a new video.

The NCGA says on its blog that the safety video will incorporate the “emotional aspect” of grain bin accidents with the focus on prevention. The video will be released in mid-January.
