Early cattle on corn can increase profits

High marbling and higher profits for cattle producers. Researchers at the University of Illinois have found that by starting early-weaned cattle on corn and finishing them on a diet high in co-products can produce high quality beef and big per-head profits. I talked with U of I animal scientist Dan Shike about their findings.
