Making a difference in Afghanistan

The Iowa National Guard has a 60 member Agricultural Development Team (ADT) going to the Kunar Province in northeast Afghanistan where they’ll assist on a wide array of projects.

Ag Secretary Vilsack, in a conference call on Monday said the ADT’s are playing a major role in rebuilding Afghanistan’s economy and making the country less vulnerable to Taliban influence.
