National Assn. of Wheat Growers revises climate policy

The board of directors of the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) has adopted a new climate change resolution that puts more emphasis on the term “net economic benefit”. Previous NAWG policy was generally supportive of climate legislation and a cap and trade system.  But NAWG president Karl Scronce tells Brownfield the group’s members have become increasingly concerned about the economic impact of the legislation being considered.
