It takes time and good people

Wipperfurth

Hosting Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is actually a four-year process. It starts with a county deciding the bid to host the show. Once the bid is awarded by Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Incorporated, a county executive committee is formed, a host farm is selected and the planning gets underway. The chair of the Dane County Executive Committee is Bob Wipperfurth, he says it is like putting a puzzle together; getting the army of volunteers together and orchestrating the logistics of this massive three-day event. He says they have a fantastic host farm and great group of enthusiastic people that have made the process fun. Wipperfurth sees this as a great opportunity to showcase Dane County agriculture.  He talks about the process.
