Manure Science Review

Glen Arnold_Extension field specialist_ (2)_webThe 2015 Manure Science Review will address some important issues facing agriculture in Ohio.

Glen Arnold, Extension nutrient management application specialist at Ohio State University says water quality and nutrient management will be topics getting attention next week in Darke County.

“We’re going to mention the new rules that people in the Western Lake Erie Basin will have to work with, even though Darke County isn’t in that watershed,” Arnold said. “We’re going to spend some time on manure research and we’re going to spend some time on the new equipment that might be available for farmers to look at.”

Manure Science Review will be held August 12 at Mississinawa Valley High School. Full details can be found here.
