Mid-week severe weather expected in the central U.S.

Warm temperatures, dry fuels, gusty winds and humidity values in the single digits will keep dangerous fire weather conditions in the Southwest through Thursday. In addition, conditions continue to look favorable for a significant severe weather event for the central U.S. starting Wednesday. Locally damaging winds, very large hail and tornadoes will be possible. A Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms is already in place.
