Ethanol has a place in the future

The Wisconsin Corn Growers are certainly at home at the WPS Farm Show; not only from the producer standpoint but from the ethanol perspective as well. Tom Thieding says they were in Washington D.C. last week to talk with the State’s Congressional delegation about ethanol and the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS).  “We got very good reception from our delegation to maintain the RFS as it stands.”  He notes that it is a good utilization of corn, a renewable energy and a good oxygenate for gasoline.  Thieding’s comments follow:
