Seed Consultants announces yield contest winners

The results of Seed Consultant’s 2014 Yield Contest have been announced.

With a yield of 292.19 bushels per acre, Tim Bishop had the highest yielding corn this year.  Triple K Farms from Maria Stein, Ohio took second place with 275.09 bpa and Matt Milless of Amanda, Ohio took third with a yield of 256.42 bpa.

Nathan Philips of Gambier, Ohio placed first in soybeans with a yield of 84.94 bpa.  David Fisher of London, Oh took second with a yield of 02 bpa, and Marlon Corwin of New Palestine, Ind. placed third in soybeans a yield of 69.4 bpa.
