It may be another good year for soybean exports

International trade consultant John Baize says foreign buyers seem to be beating a path to U.S. soybean growers. Even in the face of somewhat light domestic demand because of competition from other protein sources, soybean growers are doing well thanks to international marketing of their product.

The price has maintained health in spite of light domestic demand, but Baize, the president of John C Baize and Associates, an international agricultural trading and policy consulting firm, explains that less domestic demand plays hand in hand with heavier international demand.
