KlipensteinIn an effort to help protect agriculture, Forrest Lucas of Lucas Oil Company started Protect the Harvest in 2010. Brian Klippenstein is Executive Director of the organization which works to protect agriculture from the numerous attempts to limit or even eliminate some aspects of it. One of the biggest tools of those anti-animal agriculture efforts is the ballot initiative; Klippenstein says good information is the best way to counter those efforts. He points to the recent defeat of a GMO labeling attempt in Washington State as an example of how once people get the whole story, they will make the right decision. He says the critical point that needs to be made is the growing need for affordable food, “We just have to keep explaining the facts.”

Then Humane Society’s and as you call then fringe fanatics would have no reason to be up in arms and calling attention to this industry.
