The Nebraska State Fair kicked off its 11-day run on Friday. This is the second year for the fair at its new location in Grand Island. After what was considered a very successful debut in 2010—when it drew 309,000 people—there’s a lot of interest in how Nebraskans will respond in year number two. We discussed that topic and others with Jana Kruger, a farmer from Arlington, Nebraska and president of the Nebraska State Fair Board.
