Graham at SC climate change forum

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham stressed the need for legislative solutions for climate change to prevent EPA from ultimately calling the shots. At a 25 x ’25 Alliance conference in Columbia, South Carolina this week, ag, forestry and conservation leaders came together. More than 100 producers, landowners, environmentalists, industry and government leaders talked about energy and climate policy options, alternatives and consequences. Graham is working with Senators John Kerry and Joe Lieberman on compromise legislation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 17 percent by 2020, allowing for offshore oil drilling and increased nuclear power incentives.
