Pattern to remain active across the Heartland; temps to vary greatly northwest to southeast
Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and rainfall across much of the country. Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to the northern Plains and upper Midwest.
Meanwhile, drier-than-normal weather should be limited to the western Gulf Coast region and the Far West.
