Brownfield Ag Weather Today

For Friday, multiple areas—mainly in the Mississippi Valley as far north as Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri—are bracing for the possibility of severe thunderstorms, including damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.  Meanwhile, wintry precipitation—snow and freezing rain—will shift from the northern Plains into the upper Great Lakes region.  On Saturday, lingering snow will end across the Great Lakes States, while windy weather will spread into the eastern U.S.  Meanwhile, unsettled, showery weather will develop across the Northwest during the weekend.  Early next week, rain and snow showers will expand to other areas, including California, the Great Basin, and the Intermountain West.  By Tuesday, another winterlike storm system will emerge from the Rockies and cross the central Plains, with wind-driven snow returning across the northern Plains.
