Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A storm system currently centered just west of northern California will veer inland across southern California on Thursday.  Subsequently, the storm will cross the Southwest and emerge over the central Plains late Friday.  After reaching peak intensity over the Midwest on Saturday, the system will move northeastward and begin to weaken.  Aside from unsettled, showery, breezy weather in the West, storm impacts will include a stripe of heavy, wet snow from South Dakota and northern Nebraska into the upper Great Lakes region; windy, dry weather on the southern High Plains; and strong thunderstorms along the storm’s trailing cold front, especially on March 31 – April 1 in the middle and lower Mississippi Valley and neighboring regions.
