Brownfield Ag Weather Today

During the next 5 days, a series of storms will result in rapidly changing conditions across much of the country.  For today, any lingering Northeastern precipitation will quickly end, while unsettled, breezy weather will stretch inland from the Pacific Northwest to the northern High Plains.  By Tuesday, accumulating snow may develop as far south as the central Plains, including drought-stricken sections of Nebraska and northeastern Colorado.  At mid-week, wind-driven snow should spread into the upper Great Lakes region, while showers and a few thunderstorms will sweep across the eastern U.S.  During the second half of the week, stormy weather will return across the Northwest, with precipitation possibly spreading as far south as central California, the Great Basin, and the Intermountain West.  Bitterly cold weather will be scarce during the next several days, although occasional sub-zero temperatures will occur across the nation’s northern tier.  Elsewhere, little or no precipitation will fall during the next 5 days across the southern Plains and much of the Southwest.
