Brownfield Ag Weather Today
Dry weather, accompanied by significantly above-normal temperatures, will prevail during the next 5 days northwest of a line from the southern Rockies to Lake Superior. Across the northern High Plains, triple-digit (100-degree) temperatures can be expected during the weekend into early next week. In parts of California and the Northwest, new wildfires may flare, while existing fires could exhibit dangerous and erratic behavior. Meanwhile, showery weather will continue across the Deep South, with 5-day rainfall totals possibly topping 5 inches in portions of southern Texas, including the lower Rio Grande Valley. Totals of 1 to 2 inches will be common across the remainder of the South. During the holiday weekend, locally heavy showers will be drawn northward, into portions of the East and lower Midwest.
