Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by: The American Soybean Association and United Soybean Board

During the mid- to late-week period, showers will broadly affect the northern half of the U.S., while hot, dry weather will dominate the South.  Five-day rainfall could reach 1 to 2 inches or more across the North and from the Mississippi Valley eastward.  Meanwhile, temperatures will regularly top 100°F in the south-central U.S., including much of Texas, while readings of 95°F or higher will occur in the southern Atlantic States.  In contrast, cool air will settle into the Northwest, later spreading across the northern Plains and upper Midwest.  Late-week frost may occur as far south and east as the Dakotas and western Nebraska.
