Brownfield Ag Weather Today
A storm system arriving Monday across the Pacific Northwest will cross southern Canada through mid-week before turning northeastward. The storm will be responsible for a significant wind event across parts of the Plains and Northwest, with early-week gusts above 70 mph possible across northern sections of the Rockies and Plains. Across the central and eastern U.S., warmth in advance of the storm system will result in a brief temperature spike, followed by the return of more typical weather for this time of year. The storm’s trailing cold front will reach the Atlantic Seaboard on Friday, sparking mid to late-week showers along and east of a line from eastern Texas to Michigan. Meanwhile, Northwestern storminess will temporarily subside, followed by the return of showery weather on Thursday. Elsewhere, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from central and southern California to the Plains and upper Midwest.
