Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

A pair of strong storms—one near the northern Atlantic Coast and the other emerging from the Rockies—will perpetuate an active weather pattern. The coastal storm system will linger through mid-week before drifting eastward, delivering heavy rain and high winds in parts of the Northeast. Meanwhile, rain showers will organize across the nation’s mid-section, except on the southern High Plains. During the mid- to late-week period, a significant rain event will unfold across the eastern half of the country. Five-day rainfall totals could reach 1 to 2 inches or more from the eastern Plains to the East Coast, with higher amounts (2 to 4 inches) expected in the Northeast. Elsewhere, occasional showers will continue in the Northwest, while mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from central and southern California to the southern High Plains.
