Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

A strong cold front (interacting with tropical moisture) will continue to march eastward, reaching the Appalachians at mid-week and clearing much of the Atlantic Coast by Thursday. Late-week showers will linger, however, across Florida, while rain in New England should end on Friday. Five-day rainfall should total 1 to 2 inches or more in most areas from the Mississippi Valley eastward, with some 2- to 5-inch totals possible in the Southeast and from the Ohio Valley into the lower Great Lakes region. Dry weather in the front’s wake will be accompanied by significantly below-normal temperatures, especially across the eastern one-third of the U.S. During the mid- to late-week period, warm weather will prevail across much of the western and central U.S. Little or no precipitation will occur during the next 5 days across the western half of the country.
