Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

A cold front crossing the northern U.S. will generate a few showers from the Great Lakes region into the Northeast, mainly north and east of primary corn and soybean production areas. Meanwhile, unsettled, showery weather will linger across parts of the Deep South, including Florida’s peninsula, where 5-day rainfall totals could reach 2 to 4 inches or more. Farther west, an active monsoon circulation should lead to additional drought relief—but could result in flash flooding—in the Four Corners States, especially in Arizona, western New Mexico, and southwestern Colorado. Hot, dry conditions will persist into next week, however, in much of California, the northern Great Basin, and the Northwest, as well as large sections of the Plains. Heat (and mostly dry weather) will also extend across the western Corn Belt.
