Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by: Pivot Bio PROVEN

On Tuesday, strong to severe thunderstorms swept across the South, generating another round of local damage from high winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Areas from the lower Mississippi Valley to the southern Appalachians had the largest outbreak of damaging storms. By Wednesday, the threat for severe weather will diminish and shift toward the Atlantic Coast. Subsequently, a few days of relatively tranquil weather will cover much of the country, although generally cool conditions in the Northwest, Midwest, and Northeast will contrast with building heat across the southern Plains and Southwest. Dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days in California, the Great Basin, and the Southwest, while minimal rain will fall in the upper Great Lakes region. Toward week’s end, parts of the northern Plains and drier areas of the Midwest may experience some drought relief.
