Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Runoff from recent rain will continue to cause lowland flooding in the southern and eastern Corn Belt, as water drains from creeks and streams to larger rivers. Starting on Friday, precipitation will return across the Midwest, potentially aggravating the flood situation. Parts of the upper Midwest, as well as the Great Lakes and Northeastern States, should expect late-week snow. Meanwhile, bitterly cold air will remain in place for much of the week across the interior Northwest and northern sections of the Rockies and Plains. Late in the week, frigid air will also engulf the upper Midwest.
