Brownfield Ag Weather Today

The Pacific Northwest will receive periods of generally light precipitation, which at midweek will spread as far east as northern sections of the Rockies and High Plains. Mostly dry weather will prevail in other areas of the country. However, during the mid- to late-week period, precipitation should develop over parts of the Southwest and spread across the Plains, mid-South, and Midwest. There is the potential for late-week snowfall across the upper Midwest, while 5-day rainfall totals could reach an inch or more in the mid-South and neighboring regions. Warmth across the nation’s mid-section will peak during the first half of the week before shifting eastward. Elsewhere, southern California’s wildfire threat should diminish after mid-week.
