Interconnected with ag cameras
One of the sponsors and exhibitors at the 2012 IDEAg Interconnectivity Conference is AgCam/Dakota Micro. Charissa Rubey, Director of Sales and Marketing, said the company was founded by a farmer who needed a better camera system. These cameras are designed to be rugged and survive the farm environment. The 12-volt system is easy to move, designed for any size of farming operation and is integrated with every third party monitor on the market.
Rubey hopes farmers attending IDEAg Interconnectivity Conference walk away with the realization that agriculture is no longer about the moldboard plow. Agriculture, she said, is smart and capable and intelligent. Interconnectivity, she believes, is going to become more and more important for farmers in the future.
