South Dakota beef producer says “Ellen, Let’s Dance”

Recently talk show host Ellen DeGeneres took to social media to urge her fans and followers to eat less meat. She claims by eating less meat consumers are bettering the planet and their health.

South Dakota cattle producer and beef blogger Amanda Radke doesn’t agree and she’s providing a rebuttal to the talk show host’s claims. Radke says cattle producers are conscious of the environment and work hard to produce beef using fewer natural resources. She says consumers aren’t addressing climate change by following a plant-based diet and reducing their meat consumption.

Radke says she’s making some progress toward an appearance on The Ellen Show and hopes she’ll be able to sit down and clear the air about some misconceptions about the US beef industry.
