Wisconsin’s state fair livestock auction a “record success”

The Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction at the Wisconsin State Fair is being called a record success with sales totaling $303,800.  Blue Ribbon Sale of Champions Foundation President Bob Johnson says they were overwhelmed by the generosity of auction supporters.

Along with fair animals raising money for their exhibitors, the foundation raises money to provide more than 30-thousand dollars in scholarships and 15-thousand dollars to fund the Junior Exhibitor Showmanship, Knowledge Master Showman, and Reserve Champion awards.
