Wisconsin’s Alice in Dairyland finalists to be named Friday

Wisconsin is a little closer to knowing who the next Alice in Dairyland will be.

The selection process for the 76th Alice is taking place in Walworth County, and Friday morning March 10th, the field of applicants will be narrowed down to six.  Then, the top candidates will prepare for the three-day Alice in Dairyland finals and be evaluated on their marketing skills and agricultural knowledge.  The finalists will also tour Wisconsin agribusinesses, make presentations, and go through interviews and impromptu question-and-answer sessions with the media and others.

Alice in Dairyland is full-time communication professional for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) and serves as Wisconsin’s agricultural ambassador.

The selection of the 76th Alice in Dairyland will be announced live at the conclusion of the Alice in Dairyland Finals on May 13, 2023.  Taylor Schaefer from Racine County is the current Alice in Dairyland.
