Winter wheat harvest is wrapping up in Indiana

The USDA says ideal weather conditions spurred crop progress and winter wheat harvest.

As of Sunday, 96 percent of winter wheat is harvested, a little below the one-year and five-year average.

The state’s corn conditions remained stable with 73 percent of the crop rated in good to excellent condition.

Sixty-eight percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent.
