Willis selected as Acting Illinois State Conservationist

Tammy Willis has been selected to serve as the Acting Illinois State Conservationist for the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.

She began the role in late February following the retirement of Ivan Dozier and will remain until the permanent position is filled.

Willis has worked for the agency for 28 years in multiple sates, including terms as the Acting State Conservationist in New York and South Carolina.
