Wheat harvest advances in South Dakota

The USDA Crop Progress and Conditions report says South Dakota’s winter wheat is mostly harvested and 75% of the spring wheat has been harvested. Spring wheat conditions are rated 38% fair.

In South Dakota, corn conditions are rated 56% good to excellent, with 43% of the crop in the dent stage. Soybean conditions are rated 59% good to excellent with 85% of the crop setting pods.

Sorghum conditions are rated 63% good to excellent with 57% of the crop coloring.
