Weather helps Missouri harvest activity

Programs ICON

Warm, dry weather in Missouri last week allowed the corn and soybean harvested to make solid advances.

The USDA says as of Sunday, 87% of Missouri’s corn crop is harvested, compared to the five year average of 83%, and 57% of soybeans are harvested, compared to 53% normally in late October. 74% of soybeans are in good to excellent condition. Paces and conditions depend on what region of the state is reporting.

48% of winter wheat is planted and 27% has emerged.

67% of pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent shape.
