Weather helps Missouri harvest activity
Warm, dry weather in Missouri last week allowed the corn and soybean harvested to make solid advances.
The USDA says as of Sunday, 87% of Missouri’s corn crop is harvested, compared to the five year average of 83%, and 57% of soybeans are harvested, compared to 53% normally in late October. 74% of soybeans are in good to excellent condition. Paces and conditions depend on what region of the state is reporting.
48% of winter wheat is planted and 27% has emerged.
67% of pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent shape.
