Vote not taken in infrastructure bill

While the U.S. House took a vote Thursday night it was not on the bipartisan Senate-passed infrastructure bill. Members voted to temporarily reauthorize transportation funding through December 3rd. The Senate quickly voted to approve that.

Progressive Democrats opposed the $550 billion dollar infrastructure bill as they said they need more time to review the details of President Biden’s 1.75 Trillion dollar budget reconciliation framework, announced Thursday.

December third is also the date party leaders have set to address government funding and the debt limit.
