U.S.-China trade talks resume

Trade talks with China resume in Washington today.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Wednesday that the administration has received “indications” that China wants to reach a deal.

And President Trump tweeted that the Chinese Vice Premier is coming back to the U.S. to make a deal. He added that he’s happy with the U.S. tariffs that are in place.

The comments come just days after Trump threatened to increase tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.
