U.S. China talks reportedly resume

US Trade Representative Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin reportedly spoke with China’s Vice Premier and Commerce Minister Tuesday working toward a trade agreement.

CNBC reports a U.S. official said the sides will continue talks “as appropriate.”

It begins the new round of engagement between the two countries following the meeting of Presidents Trump and Xi at the G-20 Summit in Japan where they agreed not to impose any new tariffs.
