Tyson suspends managers at Waterloo, Iowa pork plant

Tyson Foods suspended top officials at its Waterloo, Iowa pork plant on Thursday amid allegations that they bet on how many workers would get infected during last spring’s coronavirus outbreak.

The allegations are contained in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the family of a plant employee who died from COVID-19.

Tyson says it has retained a law firm to investigate the allegations.
