Trump vows to keep tariffs on China

President Trump is vowing to continue using tariffs on China if he wins re-election.
Trump told Fox Business Network that his strategy of heavily taxing Chinese products has forced Beijing to make trade concessions and helped American farmers. Trump said record purchases of some ag products are evidence that his aggressive approach toward China is working.
Trump said the tariffs have brought “billions of dollars” into the U.S. Treasury and those funds have been used to support farmers. Trump also repeated his claim that the Chinese are paying the tariffs, although many economists say those funds have actually been paid by American consumers and other businesses.
