Trump: Prepare another 200 billion in tariffs on China

President Trump is preparing for yet another round of tariffs on Chinese products.

Trump announced 50-billion in tariffs Friday, which was quickly followed by China’s retaliation with tariffs on agricultural and manufactured goods.  The list of more than 500 American items will hit many farm-produced items like pork, soybeans, sorghum, and dairy products.

The President has ordered the U.S. Trade Representative to prepare for another 200-billion dollars’ worth of 10% tariffs on Chinese goods if China follows through on Friday’s retaliatory tariff threat.

In a statement late Monday, Trump says he has an excellent relationship with President Xi, and they will work together on many issues, but the United States will no longer be taken advantage of on trade.
