Trump, Pelosi, Schumer reach infrastructure agreement

Congressional Democrats and the White House have agreed to a nearly two-trillion-dollar infrastructure improvement deal.  The White House says President Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had a productive meeting on rebuilding the nation’s roads, highways, bridges, railroads, water, and power projects.  They also discussed the modernization of air travel and expanding broadband access for farmers and rural America.

Trump says the U.S. has not come close to properly investing in infrastructure for many years, and he confirms there will be another meeting with Democratic leadership in three weeks to discuss specific proposals and financing methods.
