There’s still time to enter Forage Analysis Super Bowl

World Dairy Expo has been called off because of the coronavirus pandemic, but the World Forage Analysis Super Bowl is still taking place.  Forage growers can submit their samples until Monday, August 31st.  Winners of the contest are usually announced during World Dairy Expo.

Contest divisions still accepting entries include alfalfa haylage, baleage, commercial hay, dairy hay, grass hay and mixed grass haylage.  The deadline has passed for standard corn silage and brown midrib corn silage entries.

Official contest rules, entry forms and Dairy Forage Seminars can be found online at foragesuperbowl.org or by calling 920-336-4521.

More than 26-thousand dollars in prizes will be awarded with the cash award for each division winner receiving $1,500.  Additional cash prizes will be presented to second through fifth place finishers with the Grand Champion Forage Producer winning $2,500

The World Forage Analysis Superbowl is organized in partnership between Dairyland Laboratories, Inc., Hay & Forage Grower, US Dairy Forage Research Center, University of Wisconsin, and World Dairy Expo.
