Tennessee corn, soybean, and cotton harvests underway

Corn and soybean harvests continue, and cotton harvest is underway. Corn harvest is 27 percent complete and soybean harvest is 2 percent complete.
Seventy-four percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent with 37 percent dropping leaves. Cotton is rated 64 percent good to excellent with 50 percent of bolls opening. Seventy-five percent of tobacco has been cut.
Sixty-two percent of pastures are rated good to excellent and 4 percent of the winter wheat crop has been planted.
Eighty-four percent of Topsoil and eighty-nine percent of Subsoil are called adequate to surplus.
