Soyleic acres expected to expand in 2023

Acres of a non-GMO high oleic soybean are expected to double in 2023. Missouri Soybean CEO Gary Wheeler tells Brownfield there were 75,000 Soyleic soybean acres planted in 2022.

“We are at 14 different liscensees and we’ve partnered with 11 different universities and states to create this impactful technology.”

Wheeler says more acres could be grown in the Midwest.

“The product is available in at least 17 states and proud of the partnerships we’ve made.”
