South Dakota soybean harvest wraps up

The soybean harvest is finished in South Dakota.

The USDA says 100% of the soy crop was harvested as of Sunday.

South Dakota’s corn harvest reached 91% completion, ahead of 80% last year, and well ahead of the five-year average of 66%.

Winter wheat is 75% emerged. Twenty-six percent of the crop is in good-to-excellent shape.

The sorghum harvest is 89% done, while sunflowers are 84% harvested.

The USDA says pasture and range conditions were rated 10 percent good-to-excellent.
