Sound Ag launches new Performance Optimizer tool for SOURCE products

Sound Agriculture launched their SOURCE Performance Optimizer tool this week as a risk management tool for farmers.

Jeff Divian, Senior Manager of Sales Agronomy for Sound tells Brownfield this allows growers to leverage soil data to create an anticipated outcome for SOURCE on their fields.

“Rather than blindly putting it on and hoping for good results, we have dug into the last 4 years of trials and on-farm data to create a model that gives us an indication of where SOURCE is going to work best.  There is now a lot of peace of mind on where we are going to place these products and make sure the results are going to be beneficial for that producer.”

He says they are also excited to announce their SOURCE Soybean technology will be available on a limited basis in 2021.

“Similar to SOURCE for corn it has the ability to help solubilize phosphate and bring more nitrogen into the equation later in the year for higher yielding soybean goals.”
